Nobody's fault but mine

Nobody's fault but mine

The blindfold I willingly wore
the pain was the same as before
all wrapped in a beautiful lie
the passion I couldn't deny

Crumbled like a house of cards
never thought it'd be this hard
to look and see a fool in me
who just handed a thief his key

Oblivious to the blatant sign
Nobody's fault but mine

Planted seeds down in your soil
Couldn't see it had been spoiled
Couldn't reach inside your soul
in the end it took its toll

Somewhere else I'll start all over
then the truth you will discover
you will try to change your fate
but by then it'd be too late

I elected to stay blind
Nobody's fault but mine

Real life is never kind
Nobody's fault but mine

Didn't want to use my mind
Nobody's fault but mine

Lost control, I crossed the line
Nobody's fault but mine

Mine!
