Sacred space

Sacred space

Loneliness, sacred space to find your peace of mind
Depression, awareness of the undone left behind
Darkness, following you through your every trip
Confidence, to be the one bearing the holy seal

Find your inner strength
stand the test of time
conclude your fantasy
at the end your dreams will shine

A lifetime is not enough
so don't be afraid to die
some people may say it's just a dream
while others assure it's a lie

Can't you understand me?
Can someone hear my call?
Am I the only one to hear them
calling from above

It's turning into a soundless voice
it's turning into a scream
Am I the one supposed to know..
Deciphering my dreams

(Chorus)
Lying awake in our sacred space
we're the owners of the rules
being within this infinite state
we hardly consider true

Surrounded by memories back from the past
the bitter and sweet, they all have their place
the feeling of ending approaching us fast
have forced us to look upon these ancient days

Where will all our actions find a reward?
Or even a punishment if that's what's due
sometimes it is here, on heavenly earth
and what if it's not, what else should we do?

Neverending secrets, unseen and untold
are only residing within your own head
your sacred space you would have to unfold
before it's too late, when facing your death

Only in sacred space, only alone
before your own memories and your own acts
you're the only one to decide what was wrong
and for what was right, to make it last.
